It's getting near impossible to pick favourites from Jason Corder's expansive catalogue,( there are SO many gems!) - but this offering approaches the finest moments of our 20th+ century avantgarde- more akin to works like Part, Ligeti, Reich- we came up with the phrase "Chamber Ambient" just for this work - ( !! ) -a sonic experience not to be missed. -ss/tm/am editions vaché
During the final days of writing my thesis I listened to this album on repeat for hours at a time. It was like being suspended in one eternal moment while all that changed around me were the ripples and eddies of a slowly meandering river. catharina_bee

Pulsing drones give way to disarming melodies on the new one from Ophtalmologist, with all the deep-sea spookiness the title implies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 22, 2023
A typical Gallery Six - release, and that’s nothing but positive to me.. I intensely love the high pitched ‘drony’ chords in combination with fieldrecordings, watersounds and filtered ambiance. It’s a deep meditative release that is comforting and uplifting imho... kudos to Hidekazu, who’s also responsible for the lovely albumcover, fitting the whole atmosphere perfectly! Berkdrums
